I feel I must alert people to this ongoing “Fraud”. DocShots does NOT deliver and its claims are a total scam. Please beware of DocStoc.
As a web designer, I have followed meticulously their instructions, in order to activate previews of my documents from my site, via “hover links”. After several exhaustive attempts, nothing. It still didn’t work.
So, in correspondence with Alon Shwartz, CTO & co-founder of DocStoc, I explained how their video tutorial was incomplete and grossly inefficient. He agreed with me, adding that he would rectify this.
I waited. I then tried it again. Still, it did not work. Again, I viewed their tutorial. Nothing had changed. Alon Shwartz lied about changing this. I then challenged him to prove to me that this elusive function actually existed. He refused to do so. I have since challenged DocStoc repeatedly to alter their fake tutorial. Again, they refused to do so.
Recently, I discovered that peoples work was being plagerised from DocStoc. Someone contacted me, claiming that DocStoc were taking published work, and selling it for profit. However, I cannot honestly verify this element.
Be wary of DocStoc.
